Autism is a developmental disorder found among children in their early developmental stages. This causes inadequacy in effective communication, socialisation, interpersonal relations, etc. The above situation makes the person dependent on others even for carrying out his/her personal needs. No proven medicine has so far been invented to take care of this disorder

Workshop for Parents

A workshop for parents of autism affected children was held on 19/12/2010. Smt. Majo Brite, SSA Dist. Project Officer inaugurated the function. Sessions were lead by Dr. Prasad, Director, Sunethri Ayurvedic Ashramam & Research Centre and Dr. Sebind, Asst. Professor- Psychiatry, Govt. Medical College, Thrissur.
