World Autism Awareness Day Observation- 2014

Autism Society, Thrissur observed this year's World Autism Awareness Day programme 

with variety of events jointly with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Urban Resource Centre-Thrissur  

at IASE Auditorium, Govt. Model Boys HSS, Thrissur.

Prominent Malayalam Film Director Shri. Kamal inauguareted the programme.  

Mon. Dr. Francis Alappatt, Chief Patron of the Autism Society, Thrissur presided over the function. Patron, Shri. T.A.Sundar Menon released the new brochure of the Society. 

 Dr.M.U.Baby, Dist. Programme Officer, SSA was also present.

Dr. Sajna Jayapal , bio-medical expert lead a seesion for parents on Autism and Food Habits

It was followed by Interactive Games for children.

An exhibition of creative talents of our children was the highlight of the venue.

Society distributed awareness leaflets on the same day at various centres of the City.

Autism Society, Thrissur joins hands with Thrissur Corporation and Sarva Siksha Abhiyan to celebrate International Day of Disabled Persons. The programme is scheduled at Tagore Centenary Hall, Aranattukara on 03/12/2010.

Annual General Body Meeting  of Autism Society, Thrissur was held on August 15th 2010 at Govt. Model Boys High School, Thrissur.

Dr. Arun Kishore, famous child psychologist and the Consultant Psychiatrist of Sussex Partnership N.H.S.Foundation, England was the chief guest of the day.

Inauguration of Research & Training Centre for Autistic Children

Centre for Reasearch and Development of Autistic Children (CRDAC) was officially inaugurated by Hon'ble Mayor of Thrissur, Smt. Bindu on 06/08/2010 at Govt. Model H.S. for Girls, Thrissur

The Centre was managed by Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) under the Urban Resource Centre of the Thrissur Corporation.

This project is the fruition of extreme effort taken by Autism Society, Thrissur and the SSA has recognised Society as a supportive body.
